We would like to thank our long time sponsor, Spyderco Knives for providing us with some amazing knives that we literally use daily.
The knife above is my favorite knife out of them all, however they are all great.
This knife has saved our bacon more than once. If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you will know that I have used this knife to cut lines to retrieve my broken SUP boards on the side of our sailboat during some intense weather, or you may recall the time when I used my knife for cutting tender for firewood. Whatever the task, my knife has always come through.
Spyderco makes a variety of knives and I take them on all of our trips.
Some knives are made for specific tasks, like my Spyderco Jumpmaster knife, is made specifically for parachuting.
I can’t really say I used it for that specific purpose, but I know if I became skydiving Accelerated Freefall (AFF) certified, I would keep it on me at all times while jumping out of a perfectly good plane.
Luckily, I’ve never packed my knives in my carry on when traveling abroad, but you can ensure that I do have them in my checked luggage, so when I get to my destination, I will have a peace of mind that I have my knife close at hand.
Some of the best features (in my point of view) is the H-1 blade has never ever shown one slight bit of rusting. As I said previously, I have used my “go to” knife daily and the blade edge is still as sharp as it was when it was new and I have had this knife in and out of the salt water for years.
The only wear I can see on this knife are the scratches on the clip that keeps the knife secured to my pocket. Actually, I think this is awesome, because I know it’s been around the block and has seen some action.
If you’re looking for an amazing knife that will give you years of undeniable strength and security, look no further than Spyderco Knives.
